The story begins in Albion, a vast realm split between four seats of power. In this land, a foreigner, and a student of the Royal College of Albion, Cedric, finds himself torn between duty, doubt, and a growing sense that his life was meant for something far beyond the roles laid out before him.

Across the sea, in the sprawling city of Hestrisis, Alistaire struggles to shelter his siblings from the grinding poverty of a world that was never built for them. His choices, like Cedric’s,  ripple outward—subtly, irreversibly—laying the foundation for a greater design than either can foresee.
